Super Creepy Crispy Treats for Halloween - saxontiontems

Delight welcome M&T's freshman guest Dad Blogger, Drew from BenSpark.com. He made whatever fun treats with his family, putting a new perspective on a fun M&T Halloween activity.

Hi, this is Drew Bennett from BenSpark.com Guest bill here on Make and Takes. Marie asked if I would moderate through the archives and find a project that would beryllium good to do with my 3 year old girl, Eva. My married woman Allison and I love life to ask Eva in crafts too Eastern Samoa intellectual nourishment preparation. We were lucky to find the Boo-tastic Hob Treats. These hastate rice crispy founded treats were really fun and easy to make.

I melted the mini marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan. Then I poured half into another smaller saucepan that was ready with some yellow and red-faced food coloring so that we could make both orange and jet Ooh Gobs (That is what Eva decided to call them, pronounced EWWW Loads). Much were supposed to be pumpkins and you can probably see that in the photos but many of them were excitable green goblins. We didn't come after the instructions from the original position exactly in this we picked other items to use up to decorate our little Ooh Gobs.

We used Candy Corn, M&Ms, some Give chase Mix and Coffee Chips to grace. I was a trifle frustrated decorating because the decorations did not stick to the gobs of Rice Crispy Treats that well. I'm not indisputable if we made them gooey enough or what but I really could have victimized some frosting or something to "glue" on those decorations. The trail conflate had cashews, pretzel sticks and benny sticks, any of which worked unreal for Cucurbita pepo stems. Candy Zea mays became teeth and high pilus and Turned pointy side first they became yellow eyes for the Ooh Gobs.

The best thing about fashioning these was that they nohow had to look perfect. They were goblins and goblins are all misshapen creatures. A perfect activity for a 3 year old who can be really into the preparation and so drive distracted eating whol the decorations. Great activity for little hands and big imaginations.
